A Solistensemble Kaleidoskop production, with support from the Hauptstadtkulturfond

Masked musicians occupy the public space with instruments and speakers. In Berlin’s streets and metro stations, they raise their voices. A musical collage based on compositions by Ianis Xenakis blends in with the sounds of the city.  During the action, activists erect monumental sculptures made of bamboo and rubber bands. As they move, the musicians form choreographic images. Both elements visualise Ian’s Xenakis’s graphic partitions.  And then, they disappear.
